The Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, NWACHI, Timothy A. U., has assured the state leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of the total readiness and unity of stakeholders in Afikpo LGA to deliver all candidates of the party in the forthcoming general elections.
The Council Chairman gave the assurance during a strategic meeting between Afikpo LGA stakeholders and the State Working Committee (SWC) of the APC held at the Party Secretariat, Abakaliki.
According to him, Afikpo LGA remains a stronghold of the APC, adding that leaders, stakeholders, party faithful and supporters at the ward and polling unit levels are fully mobilized and working in synergy to ensure total victory for the party from the Presidency to the State House of Assembly.
He noted that the achievements of the APC-led administration at the state and federal levels have made campaigns easy at the grassroots, stressing that the people of Afikpo have resolved to reciprocate good governance with massive votes.
NWACHI, applauded the Leader of the party in Ebonyi State, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, and the State Chairman of APC, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, for their purposeful leadership and inclusive approach, which has fostered peace, unity and strength within the party across the state.
Earlier in his opening remarks, the State Chairman of APC, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, expressed joy at the large turnout of stakeholders for the meeting, describing Afikpo LGA as strategic and critical to the overall success of the party in the 2027 general elections.
He called for sustained unity of purpose, synergy and collaboration among stakeholders to deliver all candidates of the party in the general elections.
On his part, the National Treasurer of the APC, Chief Mathew Uguru, who joined the State Working Committee to meet with the Afikpo stakeholders, appealed to aggrieved stakeholders and members to set aside their grievances and work towards promoting peace, unity and victory for the party.
He commended Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the entire State Working Committee and stakeholders of Afikpo LGA for their diligence, dedication and commitment to the progress of the party, and assured of APC victory in the forthcoming general elections.
The Hon. Commissioner for Skills Development and Job Creation, Prof. Ajuka Nwogo Obasi; the immediate past Chairman of Afikpo LGA, Hon. Uchenna Nnajiofor Ibiam; the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Chief Dr. Donatus Ezeogo Aja; a former Council Chairman, Pharm. Tony Ekoh and a female stakeholder, Hon. Chinasa Bakari, in their separate remarks, assured the party leadership that Afikpo stakeholders were prepared now than ever and united to work for the victory of all APC candidates.
