The Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, NWACHI, Timothy A.U., has conveyed his profound gratitude and that of the good people of the Council Area to the Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for the appointment of their illustrious son, Arch. Anwara Ewa Elechi, as Senior Special Assistant on Special Projects.
Speaking with newsmen on Monday shortly after the colourful swearing-in ceremony at the Governor’s Office, Centenary City, Abakaliki, NWACHI, described the appointment as a masterstroke of merit-driven leadership and a clear demonstration of Governor Nwifuru’s commitment to inclusive governance and equitable representation across the state.
“Today, the people of Afikpo LGA stand united in profound gratitude to His Excellency for recognizing and honouring one of our own with this strategic appointment,” NWACHI stated. “Arch. Anwara Ewa Elechi is a distinguished professional of impeccable pedigree whose wealth of experience, technical acumen, and dedication to service will undoubtedly accelerate the administration’s vision for infrastructural transformation and sustainable development.”
He expressed firm confidence that the newly sworn-in SSA would not only justify the trust reposed in him but also serve as a bridge between the government and the people, delivering impactful projects that will touch lives at the grassroots.
Reaffirming the unalloyed loyalty and support of Afikpo LGA to the Nwifuru led-administration, the Council Chairman noted that the appointment had further cemented the cordial relationship between the state government and the grassroots, while igniting renewed hope for accelerated development in the area.
