Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has joined well meaning Nigerians, democrats and party stalwarts in the birthday celebration of Professor Nentawa Yilwatda, National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a message, Governor Nwifuru said “I heartily felicitate with our distinguished National Chairman, Professor Nentawa Goshe Yilwatda, on the auspicious occasion of his 58th birthday anniversary”.
Governor Nwifuru described the birthday of the National APC Chairman as worth celebrating given that tangible results cutting acrosss various spheres of life characterise his life.
“Your 58 years on earth represent not merely the passage of time, but a remarkable journey of intellectual excellence, patriotic service, political sagacity and uncommon commitment to the growth and stability of our great party APC, and our dear nation, Nigeria”.
Governor Nwifuru credited the robust internal democracy the party enjoys to the erudition of Prof Yilwatda.
“As a Professor of Computer Engineering, your intellectual versatility, analytical mind and problem-solving capacity have found remarkable expression in your political leadership.
“You have brought to party administration the discipline of an academic, the precision of an engineer and the strategic foresight of a seasoned politician.
“Since assuming the leadership of our great party, you have demonstrated an uncommon understanding of the dynamics of contemporary politics.
“Your political astuteness and sagacity have injected a new sense of direction, confidence and cohesion into the party.
“Under your leadership, we have witnessed what can rightly be described as a rebirth of the party, with renewed enthusiasm among members and stronger confidence in its ability to accommodate diverse interests while pursuing a common political objective.
“Your stewardship has also helped to strengthen the structures of the party and deepen internal democracy. At a time when political parties can easily suffer from internal disagreements, defections and erosion of membership, your conciliatory leadership, strategic engagement and capacity for consensus-building have helped make our party increasingly attractive and resilient.
“Your contribution to the stability and growth of our party therefore deserves commendation and recognition”.
Governor Nwifuru, described the APC national Chairman as a friend of Ebonyi State who came to join the historic adoption of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
“I am particularly delighted to recall your presence at the historic and grand endorsement rally for the second term bid of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, held at the Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki.
“Let me say with deep sense of responsibility that your participation in that epoch-making political gathering was a powerful demonstration of your solidarity with the people of Ebonyi State and your strong commitment to the political advancement of our great party.
“Professor, your life at 58 is therefore a celebration of service, intellect, courage and leadership. Nigeria is fortunate to have a personality of your calibre at a critical period when political parties require visionary, disciplined and intellectually grounded leadership.
