Afikpo People Laud Governor Nwifuru Over Choice of Daughter, Obila, as Running Mate

The people of Afikpo have expressed their appreciation to Governor Francis Nwifuru over his decision to run for a second term with Deputy Governor, Princess Patricia Onyemachi Obila describing their ticket as a perfect blend of experience, energy and excellence.
“It is a ticket of continuity, stability and prosperity for Ebonyi State”, the people maintained in a statement issued by the local government Chairman, NWACHI Timothy A. U.
According to the people, the Deputy Governor is a not just a distinguished daughter of Afikpo LGA but also a symbol of grace, beacon of humility and a woman of courage, wisdom and service with a golden heart.
Describing her as tested, trusted and a bridge builder, the people said that her selection brought unending joy to every home in Afikpo.
“Our mothers are dancing, our youths are celebrating and our elders are praying” Afikpo people stated.
While commending the decision of the Governor, the people insisted that it was a hallmark of equity and inclusion and an indication that he remembers his people and rewards faithfulness.
They assured the Governor that they would stand with him and the APC as a way of reciprocating his gesture and making Ebonyi better.
