Amasiri Odyssey celebrates Prof. Felicia Alu Moh on her appointment as Pro-Chancellor and Chairperson of the Governing Council of Crawford University, Igbesa. Her emergence at this moment in the university’s journey speaks to years of steady work, depth of scholarship and a life shaped by service.
Prof. Moh has built a remarkable career across teaching, literacy advocacy and development work. Her leadership roles at Coal City University and her contributions through the British Council Nigeria and Discovery Learning Alliance reflect a mind committed to building people and strengthening institutions. Her work has touched classrooms, rural communities and national conversations about learning.
At the convocation where her appointment was announced, she spoke of faith, purpose and responsibility. She honoured the twenty-year story of Crawford University and reminded the graduating class that growth comes through courage and resolve. Her counsel carried the calm strength of someone who has walked long paths and kept to her calling.
Her service goes far beyond the academy. Through Slates & Crayons and the Ada Amasiri Network Foundation, she has supported education, health and community wellbeing. Her leadership in FELTAN and her engagement with international professional bodies further show her range and commitment.
We celebrate her as a daughter of Amasiri whose work brings credit to her roots. Her appointment marks another chapter in a journey that continues to inspire younger generations across our community.
