The Minister of Works, Sen. Engr. Nweze David Umahi has received in audience the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris at his office, Federal Ministry of Works,Mabushi Abuja on Thursday, 9th October 2025.
The meeting, which was closed door, is part of the Renewed Hope strategic interministerial coordination and cooperation among Federal Ministries and policy actors aimed at building consensus on the implementation of the national development plan. According to the Special Special Adviser on Media to the Minister of Works, Barr Orji Uchenna Orji, the two Ministers held pleasant tete a-tete on policy and developmental issues central to government action and which require accelerated attention.
Barr Orji described the Minister of Works as a result driven personality who combines personal abilities, passion, and professionalism with teamwork in the delivery of his mandate of office.
“He is a man with track records of excellence in service delivery who creates and fosters collaborative relationships in his workplace,” he emphasized
The meeting is one of the series of interministerial engagements that the Minister of Works has continued to host since he came on board.
