The entire Kpakpaji Clan in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has unanimously endorsed His Excellency Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and Senator Engr Kenneth Emeka Eze for second terms in office ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to deliver overwhelming votes in their favour.
The endorsement was announced during a constituents’ interactive session hosted by Senator Eze at his country home in Ohigbo Amagu. The well-attended gathering brought together key stakeholders, community leaders, and residents of the clan, who unanimously expressed satisfaction with the performance of both leaders.
Speaking at the event, members of the clan commended Senator Eze for his developmental strides across the Ebonyi Central Senatorial District. They highlighted his facilitation of federal employment opportunities for the youths, construction of schools, construction of road infrastructure, the ongoing development of ultra-modern hospitals across the four local government areas in the zone, electrification projects, solar streetlights, motorised and hand pump water boreholes, training and Empowerment programmes, amongst others.
In a appreciation of the outstanding performance of both leaders and their giant strides in human capital and infrastructural development, the clan formally adopted Governor Nwifuru and Senator Eze as their sole candidates for the positions of the Governor of Ebonyi state and Senator of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District respectively for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The motion for the adoption was moved by Barrister Petrus Alphons, seconded by Barrister Festus Nweke, and strongly supported by Professor Awoke, who described both leaders as the best choice for the future of the clan.
Prominent stakeholders present at the event, include judicial officers, academics, traditional rulers, and political figures, all collectively backed the endorsement, citing the leaders’ visible achievements, people-oriented policies, and commitment to grassroots development. Notable amongst them are: Hon. Justice Aloy N. Nwankwo, Hon. Justice Paul Obi Elechi, Prof. Awoke, Prof. Eliede, Prof Jonathan Aliede, Chief Oguzor Offia Nwali, Hon. Christian Usulor, Hon. Responding on behalf of the endorsed leaders, Senator Eze expressed gratitude to the people for their confidence and support. He described the endorsement as a pass of vote of confidence on the Governor and himself and appreciation of their efforts at bringing dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the people, noting that the Governor’s “Charter of Needs Agenda” has continued to foster peace and sustainable development across Ebonyi State.

The senator reaffirmed his commitment to effective legislative representation and assured the people of Kpakpaji and the entire good people of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District that he would continue to prioritize their welfare and development.
The endorsement marks a significant political development in Ebonyi Central, signaling strong grassroots backing for both leaders as preparations gradually begin ahead of the 2027 general elections.
