The Governor of Ebonyi State Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has conveyed his congratulations to the two illustrious sons of Ebonyi State, Barr. Luke Nkwegu and Barr. Fidelis Iteshi on their elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN.
Governor Nwifuru described their promotions to the coveted legal position as “deserving”.
The Governor says the honour confirms the duo’s commitment to the legal profession, years of hard work, integrity, and the exceptional brilliance they have both consistently demonstrated in the practice of law.
“Your elevation not only brings pride to the legal community but also serves as an inspiration to young lawyers across the country, especially here in Ebonyi State”, he asserts.
While urging them to live up to the ethos of the legal profession, Governor Nwifuru averred “We are confident that you will continue to uphold the ideals of justice and professionalism that this rank demands
“As you step into this new phase of your legal journey, be assured of our full support and best wishes”.
Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun will swear in 57 new Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) on Monday, 29th September, 2025.
