Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State says the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has performed creditably in all sectors of governance.
The Governor made his feelings known when he received the leadership of the Grassroot Advocacy for Tinubu led by its founder, Mrs Hanmo Akume.
He said in the midst of the economic and security challenges facing the nation, the president has demonstrated courage and competence.
Governor Nwifuru commended the group for the initiative which he said will draw support for the re-election bid of the President and All Progressive Congress APC Candidates in the 2027 general election.
” I am happy with this initiative of mobilizing support for our president because he has done very well. The positive changes the president has brought are enormous and it is not hidden . There is no sector that you will not see the impact of Mr. President. Therefore , I urge you to intensify efforts to keep the grassroots abreast of the monumental achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the need to lend their support for his re – election “
The Ebonyi Chief Executive maintained that the president has carried every zone and State along in his administration
” There’s no State you will not see federal government projects and this is the first time we are witnessing this in the country. Before the emergence of President Tinubu there was no Federal government project in Ebonyi State but now I am happy to inform you that we have been remembered with many federal projects and appointments “
The Governor gave an assurance that the president and APC will get overwhelming support from the Ebonyi people in the 2027 election.
Earlier, the Director General of the Forum Prof. Ochugudu Achoda told the Governor that they were in the State for the inauguration of the South East Chapter of the group.
According to him, the primary motive of the group was to mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the grassroots.
” We try to communicate clearly the policies and achievements of Mr. President with a view to clarifying some Misconceptions. We engage actively with the Youths and Women Groups to let them understand that the journey we started in 2023 has started manifesting in several sectors”
He commended the Governor for intiating projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the people and in tandem with President Tinubu’ s Renewed Hope Agenda “.
