Ebonyi NUJ Chairman, other journalists get EBSG appointment

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has appointed Mr Donatus Owoh, immediate past Chief Press Secretary to the Wife of the former Governor as Chairman Governing Board of Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC). Also appointed into the same Board as members are the NUJ State chairman, Mr Samson Nwafor, immediate past secretary of the Union in the state, Mr Nnamdi Akpa, a member of the correspondents chapel in the state, Mr Felix Uka and the publisher of a private newspaper, Voice, Mrs Chinwe Imo Eze. Others are Mr Sunny B. Akpagu and Emmanuel Nwuzor Oriji.In a similar development, the Governor has also appointed wife of a founding father of the state and former Attorney general, Mrs Monica Ogada as Chairman Hospitals Management Board. Appointed along with her are Messrs Elias Nwibo, Okechukw Oko -Eze, Celestine Nwogo and Nnenna Nwele as members.A Press Statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr Monday Uzor said the appontees would be sworn in by the Governor on Monday 21st July, 2025 at the Conference Room Office of the Governor, Ochoudo Centenary City, Abakaliki by 12 Noon
