National Privacy Week 2026 Update
National Privacy Week (NPW) kicked off yesterday, January 28, in Abuja as part of Global Privacy Week, promoting awareness on personal data protection, privacy rights, and digital safety.
As part of NPW 2026, The Rainbow Strategy—an NDPC-licensed Data Protection Compliance Organisation (DPCO)—is partnering with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) to empower citizens with practical knowledge to protect their privacy rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
Under the NDPC Adopt-A-School Initiative, The Rainbow Strategy has adopted Government Secondary School, Afikpo (Ebonyi State) for a Data Protection and Privacy Awareness Programme, marking NPW 2026 activities in the State.
This initiative aligns with the community-focused vision of the firm’s Founder & Chief Strategist, Franklyn Ginger-Eke, PhD, an alumnus of GSSA, and his commitment to youth empowerment and responsible digital citizenship.
