The Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, NWACHI, Timothy A.U., has applauded Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s groundbreaking education reform initiative, poised to propel the sector to new heights.
NWACHI, who made this commendation on Thursday while playing host to some Education stakeholders in his Office, urged teachers in the area to champion the new education policy’s implementation, highlighting the transformative impact it will have in Ebonyi State school system
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to academic excellence, pledging to provide essential instructional materials to schools ahead of School reopening on Monday. He praised the teachers’ pivotal role in shaping future leaders, encouraging them to sustain their positive influence.
The Education Secretary, Hon. Idris Nwachi, Chairman of Junior Secondary School Principals Association of Nigeria,JUSSPAN, Comrade Item Elizabeth; the Chairman of the Association of Primary School Heads of Nigeria, AOPSHON, Comrade Igwe Vincent Urom and the Head Teacher of Ezeke Primary School I, Mrs Oko Cecilia Nnachi echoed gratitude to the Governor of Ebonyi State and Afikpo Council Chairman for their impactful contributions to education.
They vowed to harness their collective expertise to drive academic excellence in this new academic session, aligning with the Gov Nwifuru’s People’s Charter of Needs Agenda.
